- Two miles east of the Grand Falls Casino Resort near Larchwood, Iowa. I-90 exit 1 in Minnesota. Drive south on MN-17 for 7.5 miles. It ends at a T intersection. Turn right onto 100th St. Drive one mile. The monument is on the northwest corner of 268th St./100th St. and 488th Ave. The actual spot is at the intersection, marked with a small metal disk on the center line of 268th St. Park on 488th St.

Monument is very aged. and the white base is corroding. Now has guardrails. If you geocache, there is one we found by fluke!

This is a very small marker in a field.
[Jill, 07/02/2016]The tri-state monument used to be in the middle of a road, but cars kept hitting it. After several run-ins this monument was moved off to one side. You can stand at the new spot and the old spot (as long as there's no traffic).
