Roy the Dog: Recycled Art
Originally a part of the Davis Transmedia Art Sculpture Tour, "Roy the Dog" is a sculpture on 1st Street in Davis, on the same spot where the "Stan the Submerging Man" sculpture used to be. One prior visitor commented in 2014 that there was just a triangle in its place, but it appears that the artwork hadn't yet been finished. The base triangle is made of old vinyl records and the dog face is made with tin boxes. At certain angles during the day the (approximately) 25-foot-tall sculpture appears to be in camouflage.
