Town Named Finger
There is a small town in Tennessee with the name of Finger. Supposedly it got its name when townspeople were discussing what to call it and someone noticed a citizen who was using wild hand gestures to get their attention. There's not much to see, but it is a good stop for folks who like to take photos of towns with unusual names. There is no city limit sign, but the post office is a good location for a photo, plus quite a few businesses have Finger as part of their name, such as The Finger Store and the Finger Community Center.
Its most famous resident was Sheriff Buford Pusser of "Walking Tall" fame.
