Among the rock wall carvings in Worden's Ledges, there's a cross and an open bible.

The artwork is a long, fairly arduous hike from the parking area. We got turned around on the way back to the car. On the other hand: worth every stumbling step, every drop of sweat (98F when we visited).
Cool folk art. The woman in the picture is 5'4". The face is hard to notice, because it's high on the wall, and the footing is difficult. At least one of the faces is 20-30 ft. up the side of the wall.

Very neat little park. The driveway to the park is shared by a private residence.

There are some really neat carvings done on some sandstone ledges. It is down a Bridal Trail into the woods. The property is a homestead from the mid-1800s turned into a museum. When you hike down into the woods you come across the ledges. The ledges have different carvings in them, faces, a ship and a 20 foot Sphinx. It's a beautiful place. Thought I would spread the word! Hidden gem for sure.
