Simpsonville, Kentucky: Horrible Massacre

According to its historical marker -- titled "Horrible Massacre" -- nearly all of the dead were formerly enslaved. 22 headstones are right next to the highway.

One mile west of town on the south side of US Hwy 60. Look for the line of tombstones. No good pullovers eastbound.
