The former big Golden Buddha is now the big Red Buddha. He sits in front of the Red Buddha Live Music Nightclub. I had to climb up and rub his belly for luck. The Red Buddha lounge is a popular watering hole for locals.

Big Buddha is still there and still happy -- although someone attached a happy sock in front of him. He needs a paint touch up. I remember back in the 1970s when this was the Bamboo Inn; best Chinese food in the area.

My husband and I decided to go for a drive so I suggested looking for some stuff on your website. Our first stop was the Big Buddha. It sits right on the corner of McGregor Boulevard and College Parkway. A very busy intersection, so be careful when taking a picture.
