This fence was built by my father, Yanko Krapec, in 1974/75. He also built the entire adjacent Modern Motel (1973) with some help from his friends, and only two contractors, and later stuccoed the house/office. He and my mother owned and operated the property from 1969 to 1985.

The fence in front of a motel in Thunder Bay is topped with animals made from small stones. The man working at hotel said it was constructed 75 years ago by a German man. Some parts need to be repaired but he can't find anyone to fix it.
