A soldier's rifle stuck barrel-end into the ground, flanked by a pair of combat boots, topped by a helmet. It's 19 ft. tall; a warrior giant casualty.

From N. River Rd turn west onto the Soldiers Home property. Turn left, then right to enter the main entrance drive. Loop around, and you'll see the sculpture on the right. Private property; please be respectful.

This monument is huge! A veteran resident/patient stopped to tell me it was made out of sheet metal and it was pounded and welded into what it is today. Not sure how accurate he was, but it works for me!
