Reedsville, Pennsylvania: 13-Foot-Tall Cow

Repainted and moved from a demolished milk and ice cream store in St. Mary's. Looks much nicer than before, and now stands in farm-like spot.

The Dairyland Cow

A 13-foot-tall tall bovine stands on Route 655 near Reedsville. The cow was purchased in the early 1970s from a dairy farm in St. Marys. But after four decades of standing at a now defunct and demolished milk and ice cream outlet, she is known around these parts as The Dairyland Cow. With a new coat of paint and a hard-to-miss location at the entrance to the Hameau Farm summer camp and artist retreat, this is one giant cow that gets the attention she deserves.
