Built in 1913, 110-ft. tall, water tower designed by a Norwegian architect. Not a crooked cartoon witch hat though. Observation deck opens one day a year.

Witch Hat Water Tower

This tower, just a short distance from the University of Minnesota, was the inspiration for the song "All Along the Watchtower," written by a young university student, Robert Zimmerman, later called Bob Dylan. The song was also covered by Jimi Hendrix.
