The fireworks store is now closed, and there is a gate across the entrance. So there is no safe way to stop and take a photo of him front or back going eastbound.

Facing east. As mentioned before it is difficult to stop or get a good picture of his front. Start slowing down and watching for him on the right side as soon as you cross the state line eastbound.

Very difficult to get a safe photo with this one; Uncle Sam faces east, and the turn into the fireworks place requires a pretty sudden deceleration. If you pull into the parking lot, you can get a shot of his backside...you'd have to wade through tall grass to get him from the front.
