Modeled on a famous photo of a sailor kissing a nurse at the end of WWII. Earlier versions of this statue (in San Diego and Sarasota) are named "Unconditional Surrender." This one is more tactfully named "Embracing Peace."

The 25-foot-tall statue is the image of the sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square after the end of World War II. It is so lifelike and very emotional. It will be in Graham until April 20, 2020.

This is located in McKee Botanical Gardens in Vero Beach. $12 admission to the gardens. There are several sculptured statues by Seward Johnson on display there also, through the end of April 2019.
