The biggest hex nut in the world stands outside a metal fabrication business in Green Bay: 10 feet tall, made of 3.5 tons of solid stainless steel. It's so big that you can stand inside its threaded hole for photos. Guinness World Records does not have a "World's Largest Hex Nut" category, but is said to be willing to make one so that this can be included.
