Easy stop to make. The tower has a granite base with inscriptions and memorial information. Sadly I did not get to hear it play. There is a place to park for a quick look.
[Sam Hunt, 12/16/2020]The Centralia Carillon is 165 feet high; the sixth largest bell tower in the world. Concerts are free and take place every Wednesday at noon, and Friday and Sunday at 6:30 PM. The tower is surrounded by a lush park hidden from the city where one can relax. The base of the tower has a small museum and tours are free if you make a reservation. During a Carillon concert, the Musical Fountain at the base of the Carillon moves to the music. So much fun to watch! All is free!
