Las Vegas, Nevada: Big Rig Jig: Twisted Tanker Trucks

Two real tanker trucks twisted into a 50-foot-tall upright "S." Built for 2007 Burning Man by Mike Ross. Installed in August 2016 when this was a blighted neighborhood, now it's part of an "art-forward community space" named Fergusons Downtown, which opened in Dec. 2019.

I just happened to come upon this cool sculpture when they were installing it. It's easy to find. The neighborhood is a little sketchy -- it seems like they are trying to rebuild this part of Fremont Street.
