Tucson, Arizona: Gum Chewed by John Dillinger
Most popular item in the Coit Museum of Pharmacy. When Public Enemy No. 1 was on the lam in Tucson, he'd chew gum at a drug store and stick the wads under the lunch counter. They were saved in a jar after his arrest.

The Coit Museum of Pharmacy is small, but well organized and full of historic pieces. There is an apothecary room, interactive videos, and more mortar and pestles than you can believe. The chewing gum is not labeled as such but the students were happy to help direct me to it.
