Bony Civil War Horse.

Bony Civil War Horse

The horse is on the southwest side of the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, off the street between two buildings. The sculpture is to remind us of the 1.5 million horses and mules that were killed, wounded, or died of disease during the Civil War. It's an amazing monument to the animals.
