This was the first, and last, Sambo's, part of a chain that began with this restaurant in 1957. At one time Sambo's had nearly 100 locations. The new name was designed as a temporary six-letter replacement, although it may become permanent.

Sambo's Restaurant Birthplace

Sambo's serves typical diner fare at reasonable prices. Breakfast is served all day and the menu still includes the Papa Jumbo and Mama Mumbo specials. Breakfast is served all day.
