A great stop if you love western history! The volunteer was full of wonderful stories about Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch. We loved that this piece of American history is being preserved.

Butch Cassidy Bank Robbery Museum

I was given a free tour by the enthusiastic museum owner, who was sporting full Western garb and a thick European accent. Did you know Cassidy knocked this bank off because he promised a lenient judge across the state line that he would leave Wyoming alone? Did you know the local sheriff gave chase on a borrowed bicycle? Did you know the museum proprietor organizes a yearly reenactment robbery/ bike chase/ BBQ cook off? Even though it was 2 pm and he admitted I was only visitor #3 on the day, his zeal was infectious. Meeting him was worth the stop.
