Johnny Cash One Piece at a Time Cadillac - Storytellers Museum

There's so much more at the Storytellers Museum than that amazing Cadillac, which by itself is worth the rather steep admission price. Cash owned this property for more than 30 years and it is part of Hideaway Farms, where he came for relaxation. Great off-the-beaten-path stop and very well done. Live music is included.

Johnny Cash "One Piece at a Time" Cadillac

This is a wonderful, offbeat museum and concert venue! It's a beautiful drive through rural Tennessee about 40 miles from Nashville. Make sure you call ahead for the music schedule. We were lucky enough to catch Mark Alan Cash (yes, Johnny Cas'hs nephew!) and David Bolt (a kickass piano player) and a few other local folks in a concert and storytelling session. The stories -- authentic Music City legends -- and the museum exhibits were better than the sterile behind-glass museum exhibits in Nashville. And yes, the Cadillac is worth seeing!
