The murder mystery movie "Cut Bank" (2014) is set in its namesake Montana town... but a $2,500,000 grant from the Edmonton Film Commission lured the producers about 500 kilometers north of the border, where the small village of Innisfree was turned into a semi-faithful copy of the U.S. town.
The film crew is long gone, but the replica they built of Cut Bank's solitary roadside attraction will be in Innisfree forever.
