Plainview, Texas: Jimmy Dean Museum

Jimmy Dean, the breakfast sausage king (and singer of the 1961 hit, "Big Bad John"), gave $5 million to Wayland Baptist University to build a museum about himself. Opened in 2016, in includes artifacts, a seven-foot-tall bronze statue of Jimmy, and a video theater that shows "Breakfast and a Song: The Jimmy Dean Story."

Photos of him with every star you can imagine, country and others. And of course the full story of his very successful venture into hog farming, which led to his sausage empire.
