Lefor, North Dakota: Lefor Bank Vault

The Lefor State Bank went under during the Great Depression. All that's left is a grassy lot and the vault. Too tough to destroy, the vault instead has been given a decorative historical frame.

100th Ave. SW, Lefor, ND
I-94 exit 72, then turn south onto 100 1/2 Ave. SW. Drive 14 miles. The vault is on the right, in the hamlet of Lefor.
