- City of Lubbock Cemetery. East edge of the city. From MLK Blvd turn east onto E. 31st St. Drive until the street ends at the cemetery. Drive inside the entrance, then immediately turn right. Drive 150 feet. You'll see a sign on the right pointing to the grave on the left.

Buddy Holly's mother and father are buried next to him. Seems like the grave markers have been updated in the last few years. Buddy's marker includes the image of a guitar, and people have left guitar picks there as a way of remembrance. Very easy to find.
