The star marking the birthplace of Frank Sinatra is now attached to the apartment building at 415 Monroe Street. It is no longer on the sidewalk.
[Erik Lander, 04/16/2022]I went there on 11/9/2019 but didn't see it anywhere. There is new construction going on. It looks like two lots are becoming one building. If this is correct, I hope that they put the star back.

Sure, now it looks like an odd combination of a parking lot and a stable, but it was the birthplace of Frank Sinatra, American giant and showman. A short drive from the modest sidewalk star and boarded-up museum and you can see the majestic New York skyline and wonder what it looked like through the eyes of a young Francis Albert.
