Park of Transplanted Bridges

Nice place to stop to stretch your legs, well laid out with paths between the bridges. It's a little far from the expressway, but worth it if you have some time.

Pleasant walk to stretch your legs. The park is nicely laid out to get from one bridge to the next.

Crossed these bridges off our list! Sign reads: "Bauer Road, Clinton County, Built in 1886."

Park of Transplanted Bridges

A beautiful park with several bridges you can walk across. There's a kid's playground and restrooms. Careful, there's poison ivy along the paths.

Park of Transplanted Bridges

This is a fun historical county park only 4-5 minutes from I-94! It is along the Kalamazoo River and features six historic bridges (five metal, one stone/railroad) that have been added as features to the walking/nature path (They are for pedestrians now, not cars). In August I stopped, enjoyed a picnic by the river, and walked over five of the bridges (and under the sixth). [Kyla, 12/31/2016]
