Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii: Crashed World War II Bomber
A B-24 bomber slammed into a mountain ridge in 1944, and it's still there. A short walking trail leads to the wreck, and there's a monument to the ten crew members, who all died.

- Directions:
- Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area. H-1 to Hwy 78/Moanalua Hwy. Take the Aiea cutoff to the third stoplight. Turn right onto Aiea Heights Drive. Follow it three miles to the end of the road. Continue on the one-way park road to the trailhead. The monument, which is low to the ground, is behind the restrooms next to the parking lot. The bomber is a little way in, along the walking trail.
