Stopped by this one on our walk around St. Augustine. It sits right beside the visitors center and does not get much attention. Many pass it by without knowing it is there. It is a large sphere, growing moss, with a large plaque.

This milestone marks the beginning of the Old Spanish Trail auto highway that once linked St. Augustine on the East Coast with San Diego on the West Coast. It is located between A1A and Cordova Street next to the Visitors Center.
