The historical marker next to this bridge praises it as the only one of its kind in the U.S. That's because it's nearly 300 feet long and held together by a single pin. Built in 1932. Hope that pin isn't rusty.

Bryan Bridge was built in 1932 and is the only arched cantilever truss bridge of its kind in the U.S. The bridge is held together in the center, where the two sides come together, by a single pin. Fortunately, when I drove across the bridge the pin did not fail!
