The outhouse was built in 1991 to accommodate people attending the weekly music performed at the Jenny Lind Community Building. The addition of flushing toilets to the community building in the late 1990s ended the need for the outhouse, but it has been maintained throughout the years. It's open, so you can go inside. I suppose you could even use the toilet if you'd like -- just be sure to bring a flashlight and some toilet paper.
If you're around on the first or second Saturday of the month, you can drop in and listen to some music. It begins around 5:30 pm. Admission is free, donations are appreciated.
