Chinese Cemetery The Chinese Cemetery is way more interesting than the dilapidated windmill across the road. Plus it marks a significant historical experience in Oregon's history.

Chinese Graveyard This Chinese burying ground lies just east of the I-84 exit as you move away from the center of Baker City. Chinese railroad workers were buried here. Some of their remains were repatriated to China. There are monuments and shrines on the property. Worth a visit.

Chinese Cemetery - Removed Bones Sign Two reader boards explain the history of this Chinese Cemetery and of the Chinese people of Baker City. About 46 people were originally buried here. Most have been moved, though sunken ground can show where empty graves are.
