While driving west (from San Fernando Road) on Van Nuys Blvd, enroute to see the mural, "The Day the Music Died," I saw another very interesting mural. It is a depiction of the Mona Lisa portrait, and she is wearing a sombrero, holding a sword, and has a rifle and a bandolier of bullets draped over her shoulders. The artwork is very well done, and credits for that contribution to the Pacoima's Art Revolution effort are posted on the mural.
