Revolutionary Mona Lisa.

Revolutionary Mona Lisa

While driving west (from San Fernando Road) on Van Nuys Blvd, enroute to see the mural, "The Day the Music Died," I saw another very interesting mural. It is a depiction of the Mona Lisa portrait, and she is wearing a sombrero, holding a sword, and has a rifle and a bandolier of bullets draped over her shoulders. The artwork is very well done, and credits for that contribution to the Pacoima's Art Revolution effort are posted on the mural.

On the opposite wall of the Mona Lisa building is a mural of Danny Trejo's face.
