Sitting in the left front window of Atomic Candy is a humongous, faded, chopped-off Texaco Big Friend head. It still has the classic green color scheme of the Texaco Big Friends. Inside the candy store, a small Bunyan Muffler Man head is perched atop a soda fridge. It's a sad sight to see the heads without the rest of their bodies.

My mom and I had a great time visiting the Big Friend Head at Atomic Candy. The store is filled with oddball collectibles, and the staff are friendly.

I own a store named Atomic Candy. Two weeks ago I found a Texaco Big Friend head in Oklahoma and brought it here, cleaned it up to original condition (not restored), and it is now sitting in our front window for all to view. I also have a left hand from a Texaco Big Friend that is hanging from the ceiling, and an original, unrestored Fisk Tire Boy, six feet tall. These are all store displays that I like to collect to draw people into the store.
