The business has changed to Needlers Market (liquor store). The Bar Code certificate is still on display.

[Cozysocks, 07/24/2019]The Marsh store is now called Needlers Fresh Market. The plaque is just inside the inner automatic doors. The original scanned item is in the collection of the Smithsonian.

The UPC Bar Code plaque is still there. The store is under new ownership, so there might have been some temporary upheaval. Incidentally, the cashier who scanned the first bar code just passed away this month (September 2017).
