The Garden Palace Hotel has a large mural of the New York City skyline at the entrance to the parking lot. What makes this mural interesting is that on top of it are 11 statues of construction workers seated on a large steel beam. The mural was created by T. Martin between June 2004 and August 2005.
In addition to the mural, the hotel parking lot also has two large Roman fountains and a gazebo. If you have time, check out the interior of the hotel, it is fantastic! Lots of balconies, flowers and statuary. You'll think you are standing in the center of a small Italian village.
