The mural was painted in early 2014 by Wes Hardin. The four men are Dr. Charles Tomberlin, who started the tournament in 1976; two famous Alabama football coaches; and Jerry Clower, "The Mouth of the South," whose cassette monologues were often sold in Dixie roadside gift shops in the 1980s.
