- In Comlara Park, northwest of town. I-39 exit 8. Drive west on Hwy 8 for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 33/Comlara Park Rd. Drive a half-mile. Turn right into the park. Follow Recreation Area Drive south a half-mile to the parking lots. The Knot will be on the left, just to the right of the boat ramp.

In Comlara Park there is a statue of a giant square knot.
[Doug Dirr, 06/15/2017]The Knot is large, but hardly giant; maybe eight feet high. It was sculpted out of metal by Morgan Elser, and unveiled on Oct. 2, 2010, in honor of the Boy Scouts of America organization's 100th birthday.
