Mexican Hat, Utah: Forrest Gump Scenic Viewpoint
Fans of the 1994 film Forrest Gump like to pose at the spot where he ended his cross-country jog. Home-made "Run Ended" Gump signs were replaced with official "Scenic Turnout" signs in 2022 (Utah didn't want people blocking the road to take photos). Sign reported stolen 2025.

The Forrest Gump Sign is starting to split and is wrapped in wire. Still an amazing place to pull off and get a photo. Also probably the best middle of the road photo op, too. Many others use this pull off for this purpose.
