The Jesse James Farm is worth the detour. It has a lot of information on Jesse's life and his family, and a nice gift shop as well. Pretty much everyone can say that they are related to Jesse James -- my family included!

Our guide on the Jesse James Homestead tour was very informative and we enjoyed the stories. The museum had authentic belongings of the entire family. Gives a very good insight into the James family.
The grave of Jesse James is on Hwy. 92 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery; there are maps available at the homestead if you ask. It will be on the right. As you enter the cemetery, look west for two evergreen trees close together. The graves are by that.

Jesse's replica grave is yet another nice touch at The James Farm. He was originally buried here before he was dug up and moved to a cemetery in town.
