The auction company where I work recently received a flyer indicating that White's City as well as the contents of the Million Dollar Museum will be up for auction in July. Unfortunately for the museum, it seems as though its contents are slated to be auctioned off separately. Higgenbotham Auctioneers will be conducting the sale and details are listed on their website.

The Museum is still full of most of its odd stuff, but sadly the mummies and alien babies have been abducted. I asked the woman at the desk about them and she said that the FBI had come a couple of months ago and taken them for DNA testing. She did not sound hopeful about their return to the museum.
[Lex Thompson, 12/24/2007]White's City Million Dollar Museum has to be one of the oddest places in America - my wife and I took a tour of it while we camped next door (the next day we went to Carlsbad Caverns, just up the road). The museum is comprised of a multitude of curious and strange collections (one is a room covered - ceiling, walls, and floor (under glass) with a collection of bulls horns - still another is a huge collection of miniatures - and that is just the beginning!). It took us a couple of hours to walk through it, for a modest fee (IIRC).
