A vacant lot next to an old YMCA (built for people of color in 1914) has been turned into a miniature baseball diamond with a fake retro outfield fence and big murals of Negro League baseball players and hometown hero John "Buck" O'Neil. In 1920 the building was the site where the Negro National Baseball League was created.
