- From the entrance at Lyon and Haight Sts, walk up the stairs and veer to the right. Turn left onto the main path until you are above the playground. Turn right, walk up the hill, and at the next major crossing turn right again. Along this path are the tombstone fragments.

[Sabin, 08/16/2017]In the name of efficiency, San Francisco's old cemeteries were dug up and the bodies moved to Colma. Unclaimed tombstones wound up here, and in other places in the city.
