The one-armed Paul Bunyan in BP livery looked down on our charter bus -- we were returning from Salem, Massachusetts, to Kentucky -- as we sat for eight hours, broken-down and blocking the pumps, on Halloween Day 2021. You can't make this stuff up.

Excited to report that the Paul Bunyan has had his arm repaired! I am a local so I can verify that the repair happened in late December 2018. The repair is seamless but his paint job is still a little dirty -- perhaps that's a future project?
[Katie, 01/08/2019]Paul's left arm was accidentally amputated by a truck in 2007. His right arm was stolen decades ago and has never been returned.
