- On Saw Mill River Rd. just north of the exit ramp off of I-287 Exit 2. From the east, cross the Cross Tappan Zee Bridge, pay the toll, then immediately take the first exit (#9) onto US 119. At the bottom of the exit ramp, make a right at the light, then make a quick right at the gas stations onto White Plains Rd. Drive for a mile, pass the Eldorado Diner on the left. At the second light past the Eldorado, make a left, cross back under I-287 and the MM is on the left.

Contrary to previous reports, the Elmsford one-armed Paul Bunyan Muffler Man is still standing at his post at the BP station on Saw Mill River Road.

The one-armed Paul Bunyan in BP livery looked down on our charter bus -- we were returning from Salem, Massachusetts, to Kentucky -- as we sat for eight hours, broken-down and blocking the pumps, on Halloween Day 2021. You can't make this stuff up.
