Family and patriotic activities combine for the Twentieth Anniversary celebration, an old-fashioned Fourth of July and White Squirrel Festival in downtown Kenton in west Tennessee. Visitors are invited to bring cameras to snap photos of our legendary White Squirrels. Stay to enjoy: the best barbecue in the state; softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments; a "Cars for Kids" display, auction and judging; arts & crafts booths; a carnival with rides for the kids; a Picnic in the Park for families and their lunch baskets -even 'Elvis' will be there, at the (West Tennessee Idol Winner) Steve Whitson Concert on Saturday night! Lots of things for the whole family to enjoy, starting with a prayer breakfast Saturday at 7 am and concluding with an 11 am parade, 6 pm street Dance and 9 pm fireworks display on the Fourth itself. Join us and watch the White Squirrels come out to see what "those nutty humans are doing now."
