Memorial Park Cemetery
- Address:
- 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN
- Directions:
- East edge of the city. I-240 exit 15B. Drive west a quarter-mile on US Hwy 72/Poplar Ave. Turn right at the blinker light into the cemetery. Once inside the gate make an immediate right, then bear left, then turn left. You'll soon see the Grotto on the left. Park along the right side of the road.

- Daily. Cemetery opens at 7. Cave opens at 8.

Stopped in to visit today and it was that quirky kind of lovely! You can see the dedication both artists have put into their work. I like to ask local people I encounter about their favorite home town places and several had no idea about this place.

The Grotto is a bit hard to find at first. It's surrounded by a garden exhibit, with a Koi fish pond for reference. They have a place to sign in and you can see all the people who have stopped in over the years.
