The Edgar Cayce Institute (Association for Research and Enlightenment) at Virginia Beach is well worth a visit if you are at all in tune or interested in psychic awareness. Houses the extensive Cayce library. Tours and lectures recommended. The spa has very reasonably priced 4-hour packages to pamper your body or begin a pathway to better body awareness. The meditation room is a must for anyone who yearns for or has any sense of spirituality. Wonderful, powerful prayer energy there.
[Dwight Bitikofer, 08/01/2005]Edgar Cayce was a prophet of some sort who also founded his own religion, however that works out. Anyway, he died years ago but this place carries on his studies using his theories and principles. You can take free tours and learn more than you proably wanted to know about him. The gift shop is really neat, overpriced, but interesting all the same. Definitely worth checking this out should you be in beach/Norfolk area!

Reluctant, dead psychic. Accepted no pay. Born and buried in Hopkinsville, KY (we've visited his grave and family bible, but that's another tip). Held trances twice a day. Could diagnose diseases using words he did not understand (medical terms).
