This was Roadside America number 61 of our trip from Florida to Pennsylvania. A sweet treat to end on before I got on my airplane to fly home. Just wish we would have been able to have a banana split close by.

The memorial to this famous ice cream confection is a three-for-one stop. Where the drug store soda fountain once stood is a state historical marker honoring the inventor, a park bench honoring a longtime owner of the business, and a giant (although somewhat unappetizing) banana split monument.
