Elvis Presley's ninth Hollywood film, the mostly-forgotten "Follow That Dream," was filmed here in 1961. Fans successfully lobbied to have a sign erected to mark the spot in 1996.

- The small brown sign commemorating this important event is on the north side of Hwy 40/Follow That Dream Pkwy just west of its intersection with US Hwy 19. The bridge where most of the filming took place is six miles west, at the end of Follow That Dream Pkwy.

The directions take you to the brown parkway sign. Farther down 40 at the Chamber of Commerce is the arrow sign, and 4.4 miles past that is the bridge.

This is where the movie "Follow That Dream" with Elvis was filmed in 1961. An island was formed with sand next to the bridge where most of the movie was filmed. It has since grown from sand to scrubs and palm trees.
