Grave of Tripod the Cat

Tripod supposedly moved into city hall and became such a fixture that when the cat died the entire town chipped in to have a gravestone made [RA: two local monument companies donated the tombstone]. Local legend is that the cat was so loved that when the donations were tallied the dead cat had more money than the city.

[Anonymous, 10/29/2017]

Three-legged, toothless Tripod the Cat entered city hall in 1979, died and was buried after an official funeral in 1983.
