The ship/restaurant has new awnings and a new paint scheme. The inside decor is nautical-themed and Nicholas (the proprietor) was wonderfully friendly; he even posed with with us for photos. Fresh oysters and delicious crab cakes!

We visited this restaurant on our road trip this past December. Wonderful crab cakes! They have a sit-down restaurant or a to-go window. Definitely worth a stop for the food.

The restaurant is called Captain James Seafood and Family Restaurant. I last visited it in May, and photographed it in 2009. As far as I know, it is still open for business, but call first to be sure.

Boat-shaped Restaurant

A staple on the E. Baltimore side. Capt. James is a restaurant in the shape of a boat. It's even painted with depth markings. Wait, it also has port holes. Open 24 hours, it is a great place for greasy fries and sea food at 3 am. You can see it on Boston St. in Canton (a few miles east of the Harbor).
